Easy Chicken Noodle Soup - You must have enjoyed many times chicken noodle soup at restaurants and must have thought about making it yourself at your home. Don't worry and make this soup using this easy recipe.
Recipe Ingredients
* Wide Egg Noodles - 2 1/2 cups
* Chicken Broth - 12 cups
* Chicken Meat (diced & cooked) - 3 cups
* Onion (chopped) - 1 cup
* Celery (chopped) - 1 cup
* Carrot (chopped) - 1 cup
* Fresh Parsley Sprigs - 4
* Dried Thyme - 1/2 tsp
* Bay Leaf - 1
* Corn Flour - 1/3 cup
* Oil - 1 tsp
* Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and oil,and boil for 8 minutes or until tender. Drain and rinse under cold running water.
In a large pan, combine broth, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in celery, carrot and onion. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix corn flour and water together until corn flour is completely dissolved. Gradually add to soup, stirring constantly. Add noodles and chicken and simmer. Garnish with chopped parsley and thyme.
