Summer is here in India and the heat is rising. Ice-creams and cool drinks are a favorite to beat the heat and why not! While many Ice-creams require the use of eggs to get the proper consistency, this one doesn’t require eggs at all.
Sangeetha, an aspiring chef from Mumbai, and our favorite fav from Indian Food Kitchen’s Facebook group, shares this yummy recipe for Vanilla Ice-cream that you can make without eggs. She says “ hiiiiiiiiiii !2 beat d Mumbai heat;here is a more chilling recepie 4 my foodie frnds……”

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lit whole milk(unboiled/raw)250 grams powdered sugar5 teaspoon cornflour5 teaspoon GMS powder(smoothener)Pinch of CMS powder(stabilizer)100 grams fresh creamMETHOD:
In a heavy bottom pan mix everything,except creamBring to boil by continuous stirring,cool itPour in a aluminium container and cover with lidKeep in deep freezer 4- 6 hrsChop and beat the base for 15 min.Add the fresh cream n vanilla essence n beat for 5 min.Keep in mind that after beating base will double in volumeAgain pour in two containers n keep in deep freezer for 4-5 hrs.p.s. some more fun with the base later on………:)Do you want to share recipes like this or meet other food lovers.
