Tender pirandai pieces : 8
Tamarind : as needed
Mustard : a little
Black gram dal : 1 tsp
Dried red chilli : 4 or as required
Salt : to taste
Asafoetida : as needed
Pirandai Thuvaiyal Preparation Method
Peel the skins of pirandai pieces and saute them in oil.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add mustard, red chilli, asafoetida, black gram dal and fry.
Add tamarind and saute.
Grind all the items along with salt in a mixie.
