Indian style easy french toast recipe. Ideal for breakfast as it can be prepared in half an hour with minimum of ingredients.
Recipe Ingredients
* Bread Slices - 6
* Eggs (beaten) - 2
* Milk - 2 cups
* Sugar - 6 tbsp
* Cardamoms (powdered) - 1/4 tsp
* Nutmeg (powdered) - 1/4 tsp
* Desi Ghee - To fry
Preparation
Combine the beaten eggs and milk. Add sugar and cook on a very low flame till the sugar is completely dissolved. Soak the bread slices in this mixture for about 30 minutes.
Just before frying, sprinkle the powdered spices and fry in hot ghee till golden brown on both sides.
Serve either hot or cold, depending upon individual choice.
